How do I send my film to you?

We use USPS Ground Advantage, it’s the lowest price on the market. Be sure to package your film in a bubble mailer. Paper envelopes rip and film gets lost! PLEASE WRITE YOUR ORDER NUMBER ON OR IN THE PACKAGE!

Tell me about your scans?

We are scanning 35mm on a motion picture scanner (BlackMagic Cintel) which is quite a bit different from traditional stills scanners. Your images will be delivered “flat” which means they will need to be edited using your favorite photo editing software to add contrast and saturation.

Images are approximately 6000x4000px TIFFs. If your comparing scanning from other labs this would be their EXTRA LARGE option and typically runs up to $30 dollars!

When it comes to Medium Format we are scanning them on the Sony A7rIV 61MP camera. We will soon be offering 35mm scans this very same way. Look for that in early 2024.

How does shipping work

When checking out for develop and scan services you’ll notice a shipping charge. This charge is for returning your negatives. If you want us to toss your negatives choose local pickup and put a note in the package. Shipping your film to us is on you.
